Simple Homemade Breakfast Patties

1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. dried basil
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/2 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
pinch of chili flakes
ground black pepper, to taste
1 lb. (450g) lean pork mince
1 lb. (450g) turkey mince
1 tbsp. honey
INSTRUCTIONS
Step 1
Place all the ingredients into a large mixing bowl and use your hands to mix until well combined.
Step 2
Form the mixture into 16 balls and then flatten a little to form patties.
Step 3
Heat a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat.
Step 4
Cook the patties for 5-8 minutes on one side, until browned. Then flip them over and cook for a further 5 minutes until browned on the second side and cooked through.
- These patties are great on the side with scrambled eggs and avocado.
- You can make it beforehand, just freeze and reheat it.
